Welcome to my modest little photo gallery. Right now, it consists mainly of photos taken at events that I want to share with others, but I will also eventually download photos of my family as well as a portfolio of my better compositions.
Most of the photos are taken digitally, using a Canon 300D (Digital Rebel) digital SLR and a variety of lenses, including a EF 28-135/f3.5-5.6 IS, EF 17-40/f4L, EF 50/f1.4, EF 70-200/f4L and a EF 70-200/f2.8 IS (which I occasionally rent). Some are taken with a Canon Powershot S410, and others were scanned from negatives and slides taken before I converted completely to digital. Future photos will be taken using a new Canon 20D which I recently upgraded to.
So please enjoy the photos, and take advantage of Smugmug's flexible interface, with which you can change the presentation format, background color, and even run a slideshow straight off the web. You are welcome to use these photos as you wish, but please ask for permission if you plan on distributing them for reasons outside of personal use, and please credit the photos when appropriate. Finally, Smugmug allows comments on the galleries as well as individual photos, so please leave comments or criticisms so I can improve on my photographic skills.
